Acquisition of Byggeriets Forsikringsservice

Gjensidige Forsikring ASA of Norway has acquired Byggeriets Forsikringsservice A/S, a Copenhagen-based insurance company, from Dansk Byggeri. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

MHS Corporate Finance acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Gjensidige Forsikring ASA in a private acquisition process, which led to the successful acquisition of 100% of the shares in Byggeriets Forsikringsservice A/S. Managing Partner Martin Muff led the team. MHS Corporate Finance also advised Gjensidige Forsikring ASA on the divestment of Hjelp24 in 2011.
