How are nominations determined?
In order to guarantee that awards are given only to the firms and individuals who have earned the recognition, our awards committee carefully inspects all votes and supporting evidence supplied.
We dedicate the same time and effort to each vote and our in-house research team leaves no stone unturned in our bid to verify the accuracy of the information we’re provided with.
How do I know the votes for me are legitimate?
All votes for the 2016 Dispute Resolution Awards are being filtered by our system which tracks data such as the IP address, time and date of the submission. Our system carefully picks out all votes that could be caused by spam.
Is there a charge?
Please be aware that there are absolutely no mandatory costs associated with accepting a nomination, being considered for or winning an award. Awards are based on merit and all winners will be able to opt for a free-of-charge winner’s package; any paid-for exposure in the awards supplement, as well as commemorative trophies and other benefits, are available to all winners as optional extras.
Can I announce my award?
At this stage we kindly ask all nominees and winners to hold any announcements related to the 2016 Dispute Resolution Awards until we officially lift the embargo.
How would I know if the embargo is lifted?
An email will be sent out to you including links to the official supplement and press release for the awards.
Is there an awards ceremony?
There is no awards ceremony. Acquisition International appreciates that some winners may wish to promote their success so we have a number of options available to help them do so. We are firm believers that marketing budgets, where available, should be spent wisely. We prefer to cement your reputation and help you to reach out to new clients rather than give you a pat on the back and a slap-up dinner.
